I started Ferra & Field because finding genuinely beautiful, well-made garden products shouldn’t be so difficult.
I wanted to find pieces that make a garden feel more considered, with great design, quality materials and the durability to stand up to British weather.
So we search, test and carefully select products we’d be proud to have in our own gardens. From striking steelwork to thoughtful garden details, everything has to earn its place in our collection.

Every design draws from the birds, insects, and plants of the British countryside — the heron at the pond edge, the fox crossing the field at dusk, the bee working through a summer border. These aren't generic designs. They're pieces that feel native to the gardens and homes they go into.

What are your products made from?
Every piece is laser-cut from quality steel and finished to withstand the elements. Unlike resin, plastic, or printed canvas, our steel develops a natural character over time and is built to last for decades outdoors.
Will the steel rust if I leave it outside?
Our pieces are designed for outdoor life. Depending on the finish you choose, the steel will either resist corrosion or develop a controlled, weathered patina that adds character rather than damaging the piece. Each product page lists the finish and how it ages.
What finishes are available?
Most designs are offered in a range of finishes — typically powder-coated black, natural rust (Corten-style), and brushed or mirror steel. Available finishes are shown as options on each individual product.
Are the products easy to install?
Yes. Ground-spike ornaments simply push into a border in seconds, wall art hangs like any framed picture, and bird feeders fill and clean from the top. No special tools, skills, or ongoing maintenance are required.
Can these be used indoors as well as outdoors?
Many of our wall art and decorative pieces look just as striking indoors as they do in the garden. Anything finished for outdoor durability is equally suited to interior walls, conservatories, and porches.
